I have loved learning since I was a child.
Inside, outside. Formal, informal. Structured, unstructured. I have never lost my childlike curiosity for gaining knowledge and being curious about…everything.
I am also a proponent of the idea that a key to learning most things is gaining a basic understanding of the vocabulary and fundamental ideas, so that you can at least begin to have a framework for understanding and asking good questions.
My wife and I homeschool our four children, along with a team of wonderful teachers at the alternative learning environment (ALE) school we go to twice-weekly through a nearby public school district.
There’s so much I don’t know. And that’s exciting. I hope my writings and musings on a variety of topics manage to strike a balance of education and entertainment that is interesting. If you disagree, that’s fine. If you don’t like it, that’s fine. But if you don’t find it interesting…that’s definitely not fine.
Thanks for dropping by, send me a line if you feel like it, and may you create a wonderful day!
Joseph
