JOSEF IVAN LONG

Joseph was born September 26, 1976, to a centaur.

As number one in a seven-sibling family, his childhood was filled with mundane experiences and normalcy. He was easily bored and rarely did anything exciting.

STOP! Sorry, I got caught up writing someone else's biography - let me start over. Okay. Here goes.

Joseph Ivan Long was born September 26, 1976, to a woman.

As number one in a seven-sibling family, his childhood was filled with excitement and adventure. On most of these adventures, he would lead the way nobly, with his shrill voice and wooden sword. It was during this time that his interest in Visual Storytelling first began.

Many people were impressed with his early work. Most were not. His original plans to become lawyer, mercenary, or librarian did not...work out, so he eventually landed a spot in the University of Montana's prestigious Media Arts graduate program, where he learned how to design stuff and tell stories with all kinds of deadly weapons, like cameras and Photoshop. While there, he also became the favourite student ever of esteemed Professor Richard P.F. Hughes, former "Pittsburg Citizen of the Year."

(sorry, I had to take a break - it is exhausting writing in the 3rd person, especially when you're trying to brag).

Okay. Along the way, Joseph worked with a variety of clients, companies, and interesting people on range of interesting projects. Including but not limited to, Mr. Jeffrey Townsend, NASA, Pink Martini, Dancer in the Dark, Al Gore's unsuccessful Presidental Campaign (sorry I lost that box of ballots!), author Pat Carman, Food Chain Films, Eric Edwards, Switchfoot, and various Humane Societies in the Northwest.

Also, Joseph has two children and a Swedish-Norwegian wife. They are an integral part of the Empire.
